TICKLE ME PINK

BY BETTY ELAGO

Today is the first Sunday of Advent and I was glad that I was able to attend the mass yesterday afternoon with the assistance of my helper. We all know we celebrate Christmas in memory of the birth of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, 2,000 years ago.

The gospel didn't just focus on the preparation of the celebration of the Nativity of the son of God, but also, as the priest, Fr. Bong, emphasized that we too should prepare ourselves for the second coming of Jesus Christ, as the signs are now here. And when the time comes, the earth and heavens will tremble, and many men and women will die and disappear, but the words of God will stay strong and forever!

God wants us to help one another, especially those that need our help and are in distress, God the Almighty will reward us in heaven! So folks, start helping others this Christmas season! You will be more blessed in giving than in receiving!

Before saying goodbye, I would like to congratulate the newly weds Mr. and Mrs. Ozeir Jimlanie, who tied the knot at Palacio del Sur this afternoon! I would also like to welcome Noriel and Cindy Bucoy, who are spending a few days vacation here in Zambo.
