Ilonggos come here is the meaning of “Ilonggos kadto di.” It is an invitation to all Ilonggos who are staying, working, passing by, visiting, vacationing, or touring Zamboanga City this Christmas. You are all invited to join the Christmas party and fellowship night of Circulo Zamboanga (an association of Ilonggos in Zamboanga from Iloilo, Capiz, Aklan, Negros Occidental, Antique, and Guimaras) today5Pm. at Daniel’s Hotel in Tumaga.
Those who are married to Ilonggos or “Ilonggonized” (considers themselves as Ilonggos for whatever reason) can also come and have fun with the club. There is no membership fee. The contribution for today’s event is only P250.00. Bring one Christmas gift for exchange.
ZICANAG is the longest running association of Ilonggos in Western Mindanao and meets 2 or 3 times a year for gathering and community services. What is endearing with ZICANAG when one member needs help or assistance, the club is there to back up and support.
There are many ZICANAG officers and members who occupies high government positions, military and police officers, successful business men, professional lawyers, doctors, engineers, media, consultants, among others in Zamboanga City. I am a pure Ilonggo born in Jaro but grew up in Asia’s Latin City. By the way is this still the tag line of our city? I seldom hear it being promoted by the present administration. How about the Ilonggo City of Western Mindanao. Abaw!

Ecclesiastes 8:15 So I recommend the enjoyment of life, for there is nothing better on earth for a person to do except to eat, drink, and enjoy life. So joy will accompany him in his toil during the days of his life which God gives him on earth.
