High school classmates, Arjael “Jay” Duldulao and Guadelynn “Mae-Mae” Serencio nee Espiritu, never thought that they will end up in each arms forever. 2005 batchmates of Universidad de Zamboanga-Technical High School, they met a few years back and fell in love with one another. Both are now professionals, he is a policeman while she is a nurse.
They pledged their love and lives as one last April 20, 2015, at the St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish with Rev. Fr. Marciano Villagracia as the officiating priest. Mae-Mae is the only daughter and child of the late police officer Gualberto Serencio. Her mother, Melinda Espiritu-Serencio, is my niece. The groom is the son of Henry and Gerogina Duldulao.
Their principal sponsors were Rolando Ompoc and Dr. Frances Romelia Chavez, SPO4 Sannie Pascua and Julieta Peralta, Carlos Macrohon and Nelly Berdin, TSG Victoriano Macing and Dolores Sario, SFO1 Cesar Enriquez and Elizabeth Enriquez, Ronald and Gloria Macaso.
A sumptuous dinner and enjoyable reception followed at the Astoria Regency in Pasonanca, Zamboanga City. Best wishes to Jay and Mae – may your love last forever. More blessings as you form your own family.
