|City mourns passing of Susan Delos Reyes|

The City Hall flew its flag at half-mast yesterday, August 17, to mourn the demise of former councilor and Vice Mayor Atty. Susan Natividad - De los Reyes last week.
Delos Reyes passed away on August 12, 2015 at the age of 67 due to kidney disease. Her remains lie in state at her residence in Putik.
In solidarity with the bereaved family, Climaco ordered the lowering of the Philippine flag at half-mast and extended her condolences to the De los Reyes family.
Delos Reyes, born on December 21, 1947, was an elementary grade school teacher from 1967 to 1979 before she ran and was elected as councilor in 1981.
She served as City Councilor from 1981 to 1984, and as Vice Mayor of the City from 1984 to 1987.
Delos Reyes was an ardent supporter of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines, and served as its National Secretary of the Central Board and Chairperson of Training Committee. — Jasmine Mohammadsali
