RCZC 64th joint induction ceremony with Rotary Anns PDF Print E-mail

Community multit-awardee Rotary Club of Zamboanga City (RCZC) and the Rotary Anns of Zamboanga City will have their 64th joint induction of officers and new members on July 3, 2011 at the Sapphire Ballroom of Grand Astoria Hotel. Zamboanga’s ace photographer and CPA (Certified Public Accountant) Rikki Lim will be the in-coming president who will take over the helm of leadership from out-going president Sixto “Jun”Kwan  Jr.  Rotary Anns Elsa Sebastian will be the new president of Rotary Anns. She will take over the presidency from Anne Lim.

RCZC was chartered by Rotary International on March 5, 1948, and is the eleventh oldest club in the country, second in Mindanao and the 3rd club in Rotary International (RI) District 3850. Six decades is a short time in the annals of Asian history of humanitarian service, but so much has been accomplished by RCZC in this part of the world and much more can and will be achieved. RCZC continues to growth in serving different communities with new set of officers every year. Today, the Mother Club, so they call it, has caused directly or indirectly to organize nice (9) clubs, inducted more than 500 members, and has produced five (5) RI District Governors.

Other  in-coming  RCZC officers to be inducted In office are Francis Sarau (President-Elect),  Ronald Rellosa (Vice-President), Martin Suñaz,  (Secretary), Jude Macrohon (Assistant Secretary),  Sisenario Baes  Jr. (Treasurer), and Eric Harina ( Assistant Treasurer). The in-coming RCZC Board of Directors are Oliver Ong, Dr. Anton Lim, Edwin To, Frederick Lim, and Vicente Wee Jr.

The other new officers of Rotary Anns are Mary Ann Apolinario (Vice-President), Arlene Zapanta (Secretary), Stephanee Rellosa (Assistant Secretary), Graciela Gonzales (Treasurer), Dolores Reyes (Assistant Treasurer), and Gracia Tatel (PIO). The new directors are Angela Baes, Teresita Estacio, Milagros Dimaano, and Corazon Castro.

This year’s Rotary slogan is “Reach Within to Embrace Humanity”. The special guest speaker of the formal ceremony is Anna Meloto-Wilk, the president of Gawad  Kalikasan and the founder of Human Nature an organic product company.
