The local government’s extension office in the west coast will officially begin its operations on March 1.

Mayor Beng Climaco signed Administrative Order BC 32-2018 which operationalizes the City Hall Extension Office-West in Talisayan beginning March 1, 2018.

Pursuant to the administrative order, all department heads of the local government are directed to establish and activate their respective extension offices effective March 1.

The extension office will be situated inside the Zamboanga Ecozone.

The establishment of the extension office is part of the local government’s policy to promote good governance and to maximize the delivery of services to its people, particularly to west coast residents.

According to census data, the City as of 2015 has a population of 861,799 and a land area of 143,327.02 hectares.  (Jasmine Mohammadsali/PR)
