An aviation Intelligence officer was gunned down in what is suspected to be a work-related incident inside the BAT compound along Governor Camins Avenue last Saturday.

Jeric C. Flores, 35, died on the spot after sustaining five gunshot wounds.

Police identified the gunman as Ahmad Nasser Hawari, 35.

Investigation showed that Flores just arrived aboard his motorcycle at around 6:45 p.m. when Hawari shot him six times.

Hawari reportedly fled towards the inner portion of the compound.

Police recovered six (6) spent shells of a .45 caliber pistol at the crime scene.

Sta. Maria Police Station commander Supt. Mark Azur said that police are looking at a work-related incident as the possible motive of the crime.

Police are still continuing hot pursuit operations for the suspect’s arrest.  (Dan Toribio)
