Police placed fourteen persons who failed to present their identification cards under profiling procedure in line with anti-criminality operations last Thursday.

The operation, dubbed as “Cuida Vida” was implemented from 10pm Thursday until Friday dawn by personnel from police stations 5,6,7,8,9,11 and the Zamboanga City Mobile Force Company.

Police personnel conducted mobile and foot patrol and checkpoints in areas within the jurisdiction of the Central Police Station particularly in Baliwasan, San Jose Gusu, Governor Camins Avenue, Canelar, RT Lim Boulevard and Sta. Catalina.

Police issued one citation ticket to a motorist for violating a traffic law.

Fourteen persons were held and placed under profiling after they failed to present their identification cards during inspection.

Police identified them as Hujaibi A. Akul, 19, of Sta. Barbara; DJ R Hadjirulla, 16, of Siasi Sulu; Neven P Mauro,18, single of Siasi Sulu; Hakim R Jumah, 25, of Upper Calarian; Jul A Pandoga, 18, of Asinan, Talon Talon; Abddelkhan A. Haling, 18, of Sta Barbara; Kimham A Vallate, 18, of San Jose Gusu; Jay Jay P Mabayog, 25, of San Jose Gusu; Richmond O Dequia, 23, of San Jose Gusu; Raffy F Hajijon, 31, of Baliwasan Tabuk; Cindy Marie M Pacho, 30 of Zone 1, Pamucutan; Benjamin P. Dawami, 40, of Billiard Drive, Baliwasan; Engelica T. Aycardo, 19, of Upper Calarian, and Jessamier S. Asadil 20, of Lower Calarian.

They were immediately released after the proper profiling. (Dan Toribio)
