Despite strict security measures, the house of a city vice-mayor was robbed by still unidentified suspects at Barangay Dawo, Dapitan City at Sunday dawn.

A Police Regional Office-9 report disclosed that the suspect gained access by climbing the concrete fence of the house.

The suspect’s black slippers were still left at the scene.

The robber then detached five window jalousie blades and cut the window screen with the use of a pair of scissors.

The suspect was able to cart away a wallet with P7,000 cash and identification cards belonging to the vice-mayor.

Dapitan City police are still investigating the incident.  (Remus Ong)
