Robbers struck anew at a courier company at Molave Municipality, Zamboanga del Sur Province on Monday and carted away P150,000 in cash.

Chief Inspector Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office-9 Information Officer, said that the incident happened during the height of business hours at the LBC Express along Rizal Avenue.

Two unidentified suspects, one of whom was wearing a mask and the other a cap, barged into the office and brandished a .45 caliber pistol looking for a certain Herbert.

The robbers then positioned themselves at the door where they ordered the customers to take their seat.

The suspects then entered the teller area and the office at the back where they demanded Herbert to open the vault.

They then proceeded to rob the vault of P131,000 in cash and took cash and items amounting to P19,000 from the teller area.

The robbers then took off onboard a motorcycle towards Barangay Maloloy-on.

Last October, unidentified suspects boldly barged into the same courier company’s outlet in Ipil Municipality in the town proper during the height of business hours and robbed the establishment of P200,000 in earnings.

Police are still conducting pursuit operations.  (Remus Ong)
